I'm a 3D character artist and modeler. I'm passionate about art, games, films, sketching and designing new creatures and characters to fit in different and fantasy worlds.
All my life I've loved drawing, and when I met 3Ds Max, I knew that I had to learn it, and after some years of pain and effort, I did it by my own. At University I learned Maya and different Adobe softwares, and that made me capable for create, design, texturize and animate 3D characters and props using 3ds max and/or Maya.
I also have project management skills and right now, I am organizing an art event in Bogotá, Colombia, focused on inspiring, motivating and strengthen local artists' skills.
I work in the research field, gathering information usefull for the development of different multimedia projects. I have researched and written articles about illustration and currently, image processing and action recognition. I am also in charge of the creation of characters (2D - 3D) for different projects inside the faculty
I am building an artists community, to encourage upcoming artists to stay motivated, and give some of the advices that I have received during my career and due to my experience in events like Trojan Horse Was a Unicorn, and academies like Game art institute.
I will be showing my 3D character creation workflow using Zbrush and Photoshop in a 6 hour workshop.
In a small studio, I had to develop some cartoon characters based on specific concepts, and animete some of them to be used in some Virtual learning objects.
Additionally, I had to design and develop the prototype for a Massive Transport station, create Virtual learning objects and design interfaces for various projects.
